Dating someone who was previously engaged honeymoon stage of dating
Motherhood dictates Sheryl Crow‘s life these days — even her dating life!
Since welcoming sons Wyatt and Levi into her life, the currently single rocker says she’s still “absolutely” open to romance.
“It’s trickier when you have kids, to want to walk down the aisle,” says Crow, 55, who will release her new album on April 21.
“But nonetheless, I don’t think you have to be married to have a wonderful relationship. ” Still, the nine-time Grammy winner is perfectly content — and has her hands full!
I definitely date and have had some good relationships — we’ll see what happens! — raising her two boys at home in Nashville, where her days revolve around school drop-offs, writing song while they’re in class and getting dinner on the table every night.
” Crow — who adopted Wyatt, 9, and Levi, 6, in 20, respectively — previously famously dated Owen Wilson, Eric Clapton and Lance Armstrong (they ended their engagement in 2006). “I think I would skip the engagement part [next] time, having been engaged a couple times,” she says. I think it would be an excellent reality TV show though,” she says. “To have the awesome blessing of raising two humans, it’s powerful,” Crow says.
Mason has been practising what she preaches though, and this month, the relationship expert got engaged - after just four months of dating.
“Normally dating experts find the love of their lives and then tell everyone how they did it,” she admitted.
“I went about it the other way around - I did what the 'theory' says and it paid off.
I simply took my own medicine, even though it wasn't always easy.” It may seem incredibly quick, especially after Mason previously shared a detailed checklist of what any couple should do before even moving in together, but she believes it’s the right thing to do.
40-year-old Mason and her now fiancé Christopher met on Happn at the end of December 2016, and less than four months later - much to Mason’s surprise - he proposed on a romantic trip to Italy.
